Understand what to do when your system does not respond

When it comes to technology, system issues are much more common than we realize. Therefore, it is necessary to have a reliable partner who is always available to help you and solve your technical problems with efficiency and agility.

Intragroup has separated 4 tips that will help you solve your problems when your system fails.

Check out:

1 – Test frequently to plan post-disaster actions:
It is a fact that disasters can end up happening to any system. You need to be aware of what the consequences of an outage can be, how it will affect different parts of your business, what needs to happen for them to occur and what can be done to minimize them.

2 – Isolate your communications from your Services Platform:
Putting your phones, emails, instant messages and real-time communication might work fine, but there are problems with this setup. Once the network connectivity is interrupted in the data center, it can create a huge problem as the communication will be interrupted.
Don’t make that mistake!

3 – Always warn: The temptation during an interruption is to use all means to solve the problem. Don’t forget that there are others interested in the issue, whether the fall is internal, external or both.
If you run a service for customers, they deserve to know what’s going on and receive an estimated time to restore service. In the meantime, if your internal system fails, please send updates to the affected parties until the issue is completely resolved.

4 – Don’t forget to test your backups:
Backup systems hardly share the same information as primary systems. Many of them are lightly equipped, as they won’t be used very often. Because of this, when used in excess, they can fail! Make sure you always check.
